As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day project management of all assigned projects and the daily contact between the agency and one or more client accounts.  You will interface with various departments of the agency to move projects through on behalf of the client.  This includes meeting with creative to initiate work orders, manage timelines and budgets.  Media team regarding planning and buying and our business manager on client billing and invoices.  You’ll have major input in developing strategic marketing plans for clients.  After plans are developed and presented to clients, you will be responsible for carrying the plan out.  We offer a competitive starting salary, annual bonus, plus full benefits including health and dental insurance, retirement plan, paid vacation, holidays and PTO.

Qualifications of the ideal candidate include:
• Bachelor’s degree and background in marketing, advertising and/or communications with 3-5 years’ experience.
• Desire to build strong client relationships through trust-based partnerships, commitment, thoughtful-responses and flawless delivery.
• Experience working directly with clients to manage plans, project deliverables, budgets and deadlines.
• Capable of writing creative briefs that inspire compelling creative work.  Submit new jobs to creative team with detailed direction.
• Ability to understand client market needs and dynamics to properly brief agency media team for media plan development.
• Partner with digital team on the development and execution of digital media campaigns, including digital advertising, social media, SEO/SEM and analytics reporting.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of an established team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knows how to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Does the right thing for the right reasons.
• Basic copywriting skills a plus.

We are a prominent Tampa Bay ad agency seeking a Media Buyer.

About The Position
We are looking for a Media Buyer with the experience to provide strategic buying and integration of traditional and digital media initiatives. This candidate should be an effective negotiator, critical thinker and able to establish trust and build rapport with media professionals. The candidate will work with our team to execute client’s media buys in a variety of media forms that include mainly television and digital media. The ideal candidate would have both General Market and Hispanic media experience.  Seeking a candidate with a collaborative mindset, multitasking skills and high level attention to detail. Can consider current Assistant level or Jr. Buyer level applicants as an opportunity for career growth.

Primary Responsibilities
• Negotiate and implement media campaigns for a variety of clients.
• Maintain working relationships with media vendors.
• Optimize media exposures within budget parameters.
• Execute Hispanic media initiatives.
• Ensure that ads reach target audiences through high-quality channels at the lowest possible prices.
• Stewardship of media buys including monitoring, reconciling and posting.

• Proficiency in Media Buying software (preferably Strata) and Excel.
• Interest in following advertising and media trends.
